Ich bin sicher, dass es in 20 Jahren entweder ein sehr großes [Bitcoin-]Transaktionsvolumen oder gar kein Volumen geben wird.”

Satoshi hatte das besagte Zitat allerdings nicht in den luftleeren Raum gepostet: Seine Prognose erklärte der BTC-Erfinder nämlich damit, dass Bitcoins Block-Belohnung planmäßig immer geringer werden wird, was die etwa alle vier Jahre stattfindenden Halvings sicherstellen.

Entsprechend braucht es eine zusätzliche Bezahlung in Form von Transaktionsgebühren, damit die Miner weiterhin einen Anreiz für ihre Arbeit haben. Aus diesem Grund prophezeite Satoshi entweder ein “sehr großes Transaktionsvolumen” oder den Zusammenbruch. Bislang wurden Miner allerdings auch dadurch entschädigt, dass der Bitcoin-Preis langfristig stark gestiegen ist, war die Verluste durch die Halvings mehr als wettmachte.

                    Bin gespannt was passiert, bei WIREX zahle ich nur 20 cent für eine Transaktion. Kostet bei der Sparkasse genau so viel ;-)

                        Ich sehe das nicht so kritisch, das ganze dauert eben noch recht lange.
                        Möglich, dass es erneut zu abnormen Fee’s und Stau’s während eines Bullenmarktes kommen wird, aber was soll’s.
                        Gegenwärtig spielen Kryptowährungen verhältnismäßig und im Allgemeinen ja noch eine mehr als kleine Rolle.
                        Warten wir einfach mal 10 Jahre ab, spannend bleibt es ja alles in vielerlei Hinsicht^^
