Der Hohle Lerchensporn ist ein Gewächs aus der Famile der Mohngewächse (Papaveraceae). Die Pflanze gedeiht in Laubwäldern mit nährstoffreichem Boden. Es kommen immer violett und weiß blühende Pflanzen gemeinsam in einem Habitat vor. Im Wald bei Triefenstein blüht die Pflanze sehr zahlreich zwischen einem Meer von Bärlauch. Die Pflanze kommt in Mitteleuropa am häufigsten in Bayern vor. Dort wachsen die größten Bestände. Für viele Insekten sind die schwach riechenden Blüten eine wichtige Nahrungsquelle.
The hollow larch spur is a plant of the poppy family Papaveraceae. The plant thrives in deciduous forests with nutrient-rich soil. Violet and white flowering plants always occur together in one habitat. In the forest near Triefenstein, the plant blooms in large numbers between a sea of wild garlic. The plant is most common in Bavaria in Central Europe. It is there that the largest populations can be found. For many insects the weak smelling flowers are an important source of food.

Früher bin ich im diese Zeit gerne durch den Teutoburger Wald spaziert und habe mich über den dicht stehenden Lerchensporn gefreut. Hier in Hamburg gibt es leider nur einzelne Pflanzen am Elbhang.

Für mich ist ein Spaziergang dort im Wald derzeit eine Augenweide. Aber nicht nur für die Augen wird dort etwas geboten, auch die Nase wird mit dem Duft von Bärlauch geschwängert. Um diese Jahreszeit für mich eines der schönsten Orte.
