What are the common misconceptions that people think about your profession or you think about other professions?

You must have experienced that feeling when others around you tell you about perceptions and information that have no validity about your profession, and no matter how you try to change these perceptions, you will feel that you are simply helpless, because they have spread their way and spread among individuals who are not in your specialty.

And because it is said that a misunderstanding is simpler to believe than a real understanding, so it is more likely to spread.

I wanted us to share common misconceptions that common people think of your profession in order to explain it to them.

Also the concepts that you think about any other profession, in order to modify it purposefully.

About myself, the first profession I worked in a long time ago, was data entry, and when I told my friends or people around me in general, I found them believed that anyone could fill this job and it was easy and simple to the extent that they considered it not a valuable specialized profession.

You only need a computer to start working, and you do not need skills, training, competence and any effort, that is, it is a job with mechanical movements of your fingers over the keyboard.

While in reality I was spending a lot of effort at work and was hired after testing linguistic and technical skills to notice mistakes, so writing speed is important, accuracy and scrutiny of every word and letter.

As for the concepts that I had about other professions, I thought that the profession of a chef was only entertainment, and that cooking programs were unnecessary commercial matters.

With time I had to cook, and I discovered that I thought it was completely wrong. It takes a lot of skills, taste and experience even if you are cooking something simple at home.
