Nur ein kurzes Update zur Situation! Es gibt gute sowie schlechte Nachrichten vom Vogelbaby zu berichten!
Zuerst aber zu den guten Neuigkeiten:
Es gibt endlich mehr als nur Würmer! Ich habe im Fischereifachhandel ein wahres "Schmankerlparadies" entdeckt!
Nun gibts es zu den Würmern noch einige Fliegenmaden und Bienenlarven, besonders die Maden mag Fiepsy sehr gerne!
Kosten insgesamt pro 3 Tässchen ca. 10,-€
Hunger hat der kleine Racker zum Glück nach wie vor.
Im Garten haben wir den "originalen" Vogelpapi gesehen, wie immer brav bei der Futtersuche für die Geschwister.
Den Verband haben wir auch wieder entfernt und es scheint, als ob sich das Beinchen wieder erholt!
Nun aber zu den weniger erfreulichen Nachrichten:
Der Husten ist nach wie vor vorhanden. Gestern waren wir wieder bei der Tierärztin welche ihr ein Mittel gegen Luftsackmilben gab und falls dies nichts hilft haben wir Antibiotika mit nach Hause bekommen.
Hoffentlich hilft das Medikament gegen die Milben, denn wenn nicht bedeutet es, dass das Vogelchen Luftsackwürmer hat, welche nur schwer behandelbar sind!
Für die nette Betreuung durch die Tierärztin habe ich 50,-€ an die Wildvogelhilfe gespendet, da sie keine Behandlungskosten bei Wildtieren verrechnen darf!
Nun wird Fiepsy weiterhin brav gefüttert und aufgeppelt, so gut es nur geht!
Unter Anderem gibt es jetzt auch noch dazu Vitamintropfen.

Da fallen mir meine Kindheitstage sofort wieder ein! Meine Mutter hat auch immer wieder versucht verletzte Vögel wieder aufzupeppen. Immer hat es nicht funktioniert, aber einige haben sich wieder erholt. Auch waren verirrte Igel und Schildkröten bei uns zur "Kur".

Ja, Spass macht es besonders beim Füttern... Der kleine Racker ist ja schon etwas verzogen... Von wem er das wohl hat...
Am liebsten mag er Maden und Larven, soll aber trotzdem eine ausgewogene und abwechslungsreiche Ernährung bekommen.
Die Würmer (anfangs sein Lieblingsfutter) und die Beo-Perlen werden ausgespuckt und zur Seite geworfen. Versuche ich ihm nochmal so etwas zu geben dreht er sich um zeigt mir den Rücken... schmollt wie ein kleines, stures Kind bis ich wieder Maden füttere.
Ab und zu schaffe ich es trotzdem ihm die Beo-Perlen (müssen sein, wegen den Vitamin -Tropfen) unterzujubeln, dann schüttelt er den Kopf und siht micht an wie ein "Angry-Bird"... einfach herrlich komisch!

I like it ! Ich habe früher die Küken nach dem Inkubator betreut. Ein klasse Gefühl diese kleine zerbrechlichen piepmatze.

Ist schon irre aber sehr bemerkenswert wie Du Dich um den kleinen Racker kümmerst.
Wir hatten hier gestern Not am Vogel. Ein Schwälbchen stürzte sich unverhofft in einen Eimer voll Wasser, ertrank fast, wurde rechtzeitig gerettet, getrocknet und flog anschliessend munter von dannen.
Heute baut Sie schon wieder an Ihrem Nest.

Insgesamt hatte ich schon 3 Amseln, 2 Meisen und 1 Rabenkrähe!
Die meisten davon habe ich durchgebracht und konnten ausgewildert werden bzw. sind noch in einer Voliere daheim, nur die Krähe musste ich nach etwa 5 Wochen dann doch einschläfern lassen, das war echt schwer für mich aber sonst wäre es nur ein langes Leiden gewesen!
Ich bin aber guter Dinge, dass ich dieses Vögelchen wieder fit bekomme! Das Beinchen wird schon wieder leicht belastet und Fiepsy hüpft aufgeregt im Käfig herum! Habe heute mit Antibiotika begonnen, da das Milbenmittel nicht wirkt. 5 Tage lang je einen Tropfen davon, dann passt hoffentlich wieder alles!

Na es gibt bestimmt einfachere Vögel die so manch einer von uns hat, der scheint ja doch ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit zu benötigen, will mal hoffen das sich Dein Einsatz hinterher durch einen fröhlich rumfliegenden Vogel auszahlt.

Bei uns vor der Türe bei dem Vogelnest lagen vor 3 Tagen die Vogeleier zermatsch alle auf dem Boden. Der Vogel war seither nicht mehr gesehen. War eine Böse Mama die keinen Bock auf Nachwuchs hatte :) Gruß Holger

Vielleicht waren die Eier schon von Keimen befallen und die Vogelmutter wusste, dass der Nachwuchs sterben wird. Auch eine zu kalte Nacht in der sie es nicht ins Nest schaffte kann das Gelege abtöten.
