O ihr kleinmütig Volk,
die ihr vom Heute nicht loskommt,
die ihr meint:
und wird es sein so ist es, war es
so lange Menschen lebe
würdet ihr doch andrer Hoffnung Beute
und lerntet wieder schauen Offenbares
und Hirn und Herz zu hoechstem Ziel erheben
