Hi, everyone. This is Ciceron (@ciceron), an innovative translation company.
Our company has been providing translations to facilitate communication.
While looking through various content, we realized how many interesting posts there are on Steemit that would definitely get many votes if translated in other languages.
Which is why! Ciceron is going to become a so-to-say assistant doing everything possible to tear down the language barriers. As a part of the project, we translated posts written by our three travel bloggers and introduced travel translation services for the first time on Steemit.
We are excited to hear good news from our bloggers and to learn that the project clicked!
Inspired by good feedback, we thought about expanding the service and bringing even more people together! That’s how the idea of introducing Steemit content translation beta service occurred to us.
Make translation requests on Steemit and get paid in Steem!
A client can make a translation request on Steemit and get more votes by posting the same content but in a different language thereby adding more tags!
A translator will be paid in Steem. Translate the content you like and enjoy your work even more!
Moreover, don’t you find the opportunity to create such service inside Steemit community fascinating?
To implement the idea, Ciceron will become a bridge connecting bloggers and translators.
During the 1st application period, a lot of Korean-English translators sent us their applications, which is why we are going to do only Korean-English and English-Korean translations for the moment.
Later, when we find translators working with Chinese, Japanese and other languages, we are planning to expand our service! We hope to receive a lot of applications!
It’s just a beta service for the moment, but we are going to do our best to improve and further develop the service together with Steemians.
So the question is... How do you make a translation request?
Just stick to the following instructions! Not difficult at all!
1. Download “Steemit Translation by CICERON” from Chrome Web Store and install it.
Click here to download!!- For Chrome
Click here to download!!- For Firefox
2. Go to the Steemit page, open a post you want to be translated and click on the “Translate” button that should appear next to the post title.
(Compare Before and After installing the extensions and find the “Translate” button)
3. Enter necessary information regarding your translation request.
4. Click on the Submit button and the mail with the fee will be sent to the email address you have entered.
5. The information about your translation request will also appear in the comment to that post.
6. After you transfer the money on Steemit, translator will get a notification about your request.
7. The original text will be uploaded to the TM tool (MYCATTool) and a translator will start the work after being assigned!
8. After the translation is finished, a person in charge will check it and send to the client!
That’s all!
Easy, right? Are you ready to start?

through various contents, not *thorough various content; and you simply can't say "...which is why! Ciceron...". That is pure Korean written in English words. You need to be able to deliver a better final draft. If you're counting on readers who aren't fluent in English, that's fine, but you can't get much further with this level of English! Clients should be aware of what they're paying for.

Hello Jamie, I am an account manager at CICERON. First, I would like to thank you for pointing out the missing part. Thanks to your help, we were able to correct it. :) We are currently working with translators to translate our account posts, but because I write the original in Korean, it can sometimes be translated in an awkward way. Considering the reader in the future, we will make sure to translate more naturally, rather than using word-for-word literal translations.
The ‘Steemit Translation by CICERON’ service mentioned above can be rewarded with Steem by requesting a translation in Steemit and participating in the translation directly. Please join us, Jamie, using the link, and together we can help Steemit become more active, without language barriers. :)
Thank you for your interest.

Thanks for your frank answer. Of course the original would have been in Korean, but a word-for-word translation can never be excused, especially since very little work is needed to modify a google translation or something similar; the result will be more or less the same as what you had up there. I felt uncomfortable with the idea that people here would have to pay for it.
I write in English on a professional level, and don't consider myself on a par with people who are probably more comfortable with Korean, presuming they would be the kind of people who might apply to join a team of translators. I doubt the reward one may expect in a team will be enough to compensate for having to work on this platform, which I'm using for leisure.
Having said that, I might consider revising to make a final draft, but that is a different task altogether. I'm leaning towards working independently, if I were to work at all on this platform. But thanks for the suggestion! I hope to see decent work from you guys, and good luck!
