The doctor looks at you and says:

There is nothing else we can do I’m sorry, ̶It is time to p̶r̶e̶p̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶d̶i̶e̶ “get your affairs in order”.

You are in shock! incredulity, disappointment, anger, frustration, and for the most part sadness are some of the feelings you have as soon as he finishes that deadly sentence.

What do I do now?

Will this be the end of my existence?

Some people accept their faith and may say to themselves “This is it” “there is nothing else to do” “I had a good life” and “the time has come”.

But some people don’t and decide to “rebel against” this death sentence given by the doctor and decide to try alternative methods, meditation, living in the mountains with monks, alternative therapies, getting more close to God, getting deep into spirituality, etc.

I happen to have more sympathy with the latter group of people who “rebel” and fight and I’m not alone on this friends or family members close to you may try to go a little further than just persuasion or talking to you and may try to impose their will on you.

Sometimes we want to impose our will on other people because we think it is the right thing to do, but who the hell is me or a friend or a family member or anyone else? who may dare and try to impose their will on such an important decision in your life?

This decision could be the last decision you will ever make or the decision that perhaps will open a new chapter in your life. Take your time think about it get some advice from people who you love and whatever your decision is it should be respected.
