Video showing how to speed up the process of syncing the Digibyte Core Wallet. Your wallet will need to be fully synced to receive and send coins. The Digibyte blockchain is very large so it can take a long time to sync. Using my method you will be up and running in no time and one step closer to mining.
Instructions:
Download Digibyte Wallet
https://www.digibyte.co/digibyte-downloads#Install the Digibyte Wallet
If wallet opens CLOSE THE WALLET after setup and EXIT THE APP. Be sure you remember where you specified blockchain should go in the setup!
Download the Digibyte BlockChain (4 gigs or so)
http://108.61.216.160/cryptochainer.chains/chains/DigiByte_blockchain.zipGo to Folder where you installed blockchain. Your Wallet.dat will be here too.
Select all the files
Delete all the Files
Take the Digibyte Block Chain Folder and Unzip it into the newly empty Digibyte Blockchain Folder
Open the Digibyte Wallet
Program will grind for a bit then finally open, at this point your block chain should be a couple weeks behind
Leave the program open so it can fully sync.
After this is done, you are ready to receive DGB coins and one step closer to mining
