The action film ‘Dhaka Attack’ is storming the cinemas across the country as most of the audiences and cinema authorities expressed positive responses.
UNB Correspondent also found the truth visiting different cinemas from the release day and observing the posts, comments on social media.
The Bangladeshi thriller drama film directed by Dipankar Sengupta and written by Sunny Sanwar was released on Friday in 122 cinemas in the country. The film will be also released in three languages on 20 October worldwide.
Tanvir Hossain Khan, a student of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, who enjoyed the movie at Madhumita cinema, shared his experience that for the first time he found the cinema houseful.
He said that the movie drew his attention till the end and Bangladesh is now able to produce a standard crime thriller movie.
A facebook user Curzon posted a comment that ‘Dhaka Attack’ is one of the best Bangladeshi movies he has ever watched.
The cinema authorities said that their ticket sale is also very good.
“We usually sell tickets worth Tk 7,000-8,000 in the morning show. The hit movie can earn Tk 22,000-23,000 selling tickets while the sale of ‘Dhaka Attack’ crossed Tk 38,000 on the day of release,” said authorities of Balaka cinema.
Viewers started booking tickets for ‘Dhaka Attack’ at the cinemas in Dhaka.
Arefin Shuvo, Mahiya Mahi and ABM Sumon played the lead roles while it was produced and distributed by Three Wheelers Films and Splash Multimedia Limited.
