Mahendra Singh Dhoni is literally worshipped in India and there is nothing wrong with that. He has won 2 World Cups for us which by no means is a small feat. It's the most the man can do rather. The former Indian Captain has been one of the finest finishers in the modern one day game and his glove work seems quicker than the speed of light. Let's look at 5 things only a man like the great Mahendra Singh Dhoni can do.
Away From The Limelight
Remember what used to happen under Dhoni's leadership whenever India won a series? Whenever the presenter asked the winning captain to come up and take the coveted trophy, as soon as Dhoni received it he passed it on to the team to enjoy it just to fade away somewhere in the backdrop.
2.Winning Runs
He does that all the time. It's always a sweet feeling to score the winning runs but that doesn't bother Dhoni because for him it's all about good Karma and giving others the opportunity. That's what made him a great leader I guess. Well, that's what still makes him a great leader rather.

Remember the 2013 Champions Trophy when Ishant Sharma was having the worst day of his life and Dhoni suddenly asked him to bowl even though he could have bowled Ashwin? We all know what happened next. Off- course you remember his 2007 India vs Pakistan Joginder Sharma Masterstroke. Ever imagine what would have happened if either of these moves failed? Dhoni certainly has nerves of steel and let's leave it to that.Country Before Family
Dhoni once said if not a cricketer, he would have been in the army. Well, he certainly has traits to do so as he always thinks about his Team and Country before anything else. Let's not forget that he even skipped the occasion when his daughter was born because he was busy playing for India in Australia in 2015.

There is no doubt that there is no better team player than Dhoni. He always thinks about the future of the team. Even in Virat Kohli's case, he made sure that he groomed him enough before he himself put in his papers to hand over the captaincy to Virat. Many youngsters have been groomed under him and he is still playing a very pivotal role in India's road to the 2019 World Cup.
