This tiny little beetle is so tough you can stomp on it or even run it over with your car and it will be unharmed. It'e exoskeleton is that tough. Scientists from the University of California Irvine have discovered why it might be so tough. Perhaps people can learn to make materials like this and put them to good use. Beetles in general are such amazing creatures due to their ability to survive in really cool ways. They can burro, push and carry wight much greater than their own and now they can even have seemingly indestructible armor. They can even survive a nuclear winter supposedly. It wouldn't surprise me. Nature always finds a way to impress.
