I kind of hate this weather, it dries-up my skin and because of that my skin gets itchy. My parents are getting tired of me asking for a hot plastic bag of water which I use to relieve the itch because I could not scratch lest I will get the risk of skin infection.
It is quite a fair weather really and I can't just explain why my skin is so dry but maybe it is due to my body's imbalances. What ever the reason I am just longing for a weather that is a bit humid and basically will make my skin moist although I am getting the full treatment when hot weather does come.
The hot weather just serves me better, it benefits me by allowing me to get rid of extra water from my body which in turn would make me liberal with my fluid consumption. And of course if I would perspire much then my skin would never be like it was like a newly harvested rice field.
The problem is that my skin gets itchy when the weather is dry like these days and the only solution was to have it moisturized naturally. I do not want to put on lotions very much because of the various chemicals that is in it where who knows if those chemicals are harmless or not.
What I am doing right now is just to rub the affected part with tissue with my rubbing alcohol. I do not know if it does work but I feel that it does not and it is just my way of relieving it a bit and sanitizing it at the same time, I just like that way rather than scratching which just makes things worse as it gets itchier and the cycle continues.
I am just patient for the weather to change so that I could feel the relief that I needed. This is just a complication of being a dialysis patient for an extended period of time, dry scaly skin and itchy and I am just glad that I do not get so dark unlike the other dialysis patients.
