That with the technology we use today for space exploration it would take roughly 75,000 years to arrive to the nearest star, Alpha Proxima 4.25light year's away. At this speed you reach Mars in two months.
The Milky Way is 105,000 light years across and contain between 100 billion and 400 billion other stars. The solar system need an entire 230 million years at a speed of 828,000 km/h to make a full circle around the centre. A centre that contains a super massive black hole large as 4 million suns . Out there around the stars there is at least as many planets orbiting, likely many more. Many of these are thought to be composed mainly of diamond!!
Space is mindbending and big.
