Hitting the wall

It was a bit chilly today so Daddy and I went shopping and for a snack. Daddy had a chocolate muffin and a cafe latte, I had sweet potato, sausage, lingonberry and soy milk. Seems fair.

We spent a couple of hours walking around to try and burn off some extra energy otherwise getting to sleep is a little hard. When the weather is so cold I can't go outside because it makes my breathing worse and then I really can't sleep but, I don't mind playing around in the shops too.

Ever noticed how much fun it is to lay on shop floors? I don't get why Daddy doesn't join me down there. I guess the taller you are the harder it is to get down to ground level but again, Daddy isn't so far from the ground.

After the shopping centre outing we had to go and do food shopping at the supermarket as I was running low on frozen food choices. There will be a lot of cooking to do over the next few days to fill the freezer again so there is more range. Luckily, there is a lot of frozen sausage in there still though as it would be terrible to run out of that.

As much as I like Daddy and Daughter weekends, it seems like it has been a long time since we have done anything as a family because either Mummy is studying or Daddy is making up for hours missed. It is hopefully only for a short time more but months seem like years and, it has been a couple years already. I think everyone is a little tired of it but, that is what it takes sometimes.

I have been growing up a lot lately, learning about the world and how people work. I told Daddy about the people I saw in the cafe today and noticed how people were not smiling so much, people are so serious. Perhaps it is the cold.

I tried to make people laugh though and succeeded in convincing the two women next to me to crack a smile or two at my antics while Daddy was heating my food in the microwave there. I count that as a win. They also thought it was funny to watch me eat by myself.

Oh, One thing I learned this week was some German from Daddy. When people sneeze I say, Gesundheit. That makes people laugh too.
