Rest in peace Boba Dick Gregory!
The comedian, activist, author passed away in Washington DC due to a bacterial infection, according to reports from Te Associated Press. At age 84 Dick Gregory was still traveling the world and making appearances to speak at local churches, colleges, and other venues. He was here in Raleigh NC not long ago doing a show with Paul Mooney. I was blessed to meet him in 1995 and a day that I will forever remember. Rest in Heaven Dick Gregory! RIH.....
