I'm new to Steemit. I don't even really know what it is, as I just discovered it.

I had a successful Youtube account that was about to reach 1,000,000 views with 4500 followers and one day I got a notice from Youtube that they were no longer going to allow my channel to be monetized. The reason they gave me was that I was using content that wasn't mine. They didn't give me any examples or any chance to dispute this claim. What is Youtube now some kind of Digital Totalitarian Force that can not have to require any due process or any input from it content uploader? I'm going to try to get all my thousands of videos on youtube transferred over to other sites. Anyone have any ideas? My youtube channel "Major Tim To Ground Control" has my commentary on books, culture, history, religion, philosophy and I read some of my books and other book on my channel and I have many music videos live and studio edited videos along with vlogs of my life in Japan and now back in the US and my crazy rides on my motorcycle on the California highways. I also have many healing videos I've created which are not only very educational but also very healing if you listen and follow them.
