You can't teach an old dog new tricks..... BUT you can teach a new puppy good skills.

Seen here is 3rd Generation Diesel Expert in training Baden, with his Grandfather Reinhard. Baden recently started his apprenticeship in the Family business and follows just in behind his brother Trent, also an apprentice in the Family business. Reinhard, German born and Bosch trained, came to Australia in 1960 after being hand picked at Bosch to train the yet unfamiliar to Diesel, Australian mechanical scene. You see back in 1960, the Australian transport scene was filled with Petrol trucks and so Reinhard had a real task ahead of him training his new found home country how to work on Diesels.

Come 2017, and the skill and experience required to hand build a Diesel injector has pretty much disappeared. Machinery with digital test sequences does all the skilled stuff for workers nowadays. Finding a Family Business offering these 'age old' skills and personal service is difficult. Finding one with 3 Generations of Family working in the business is very much a thing of the past.

Feel free to call for a chat about your Diesel. If you do, and you're lucky enough to speak to either Reinhard or Andrew, you'll find out why people "Come and get the Berrima Diesel service 4WDrivers across Australia are raving about."
