Fruits are an important part of any weight loss plan. They provide needed vitamins, while also tasting great, making you feel as though you are treating yourself while losing weight. Fruits also aid in digestion and keep your from becoming constipated. Be careful, however, about consuming overly high levels of sugar from excessive amounts of fruit. You do not want to end up with high glucose levels.
Seek out foods what have less calories than others. These could include grains, fruits and vegetables. Try snacking on raw veggies such as carrots, celery and broccoli. Filling up on low-calorie snacks can make you less tempted by heavy meals, since you will not be feeling as hungry when you sit down to a meal.
Though carbohydrates are generally beneficial in keeping your energy levels up, they can work against you when you are trying to lose weight. They typically burn faster than other types of foods, but if you eat too much of them, they will add to your overall weight. An obvious solution is to get adequate exercise to burn any carbohydrates your consume. If you are able to do this, then you will be less affected by high amounts of carbohydrates when dieting.
Above all, never skip breakfast. Your body needs fuel to get through the day, and if you skip this meal, it can lead to binge eating later in the day. The calories you think you are avoiding will be compounded and work against you before the day is over.
Add these techniques to a healthy weight loss approach, coupled with exercise and a positive attitude. You will see the pounds disappear and your true healthy self emerge.

I really like this topic. I encourage all my clients to follow a plantbased diet to feel and be healthier. Once you start you geel the change in energy levels, clarity and mindfullness. I listen a lot Dr. Greger and Dr. Rhonda Patrick.

So true ... we are what we eat. And many of us, myself included, sometimes just eat so unconsciously, whatever is available and easy. I just did a write up on healthy fats, particularly the ones for your brain and would love your opinion on it if you have the time to check it out.
