Eating has been the most euphoric guilty pleasure one cannot resist of doing. May it be just to quench one's physical needs, to satisfy some cravings, or to relieve stress; eating has never been out of style.
Honestly, I am a huge eater, especially when there's bulad (dried fish), beef steak, and chicken curry. Add to that my love for street food: proven (chicken proventriculus), isaw (chicken intestine), and balut (boiled fertilized duck egg); cakes and pastries: chocolate moist, mango, brownies, chocolate crinkles, and coffee roll; and fast food: jolly hotdog and creamy carbonara. Not to mention the best sellers in my new favorite places to dine in: Good Frydays and Camp Lami.
Let me digress as to how I don't gain too much weight. Staying in shape becomes a struggle, particularly because of my slow metabolism, plus the binge-eating I always do. But, thanks to a lot of YouTube videos and workout mobile apps that teach one how to properly execute some physical exercises even when at home. I can live without excess fats in my belly, feel light, and don't easily feel exhausted with long walks in the streets or staircases.
This is me sharing with you that not all of the enticing food we have eaten do not necessarily have to result as "bilbils" (excess body fat on the lower abdomen). Simply put, let us take care of our health more than anything else because it is our wealth.
