Start eating healthy.... NOW!!!

@jabez518 (33) This comment is for your benefit so you don't find others downvoting or flagging you.

I have noticed that you have made a number of very short comments on other blogs, which are similar in style to the one above. They don’t really add anything to the discussion of the topic. You seem to be repeating the same kind of comment on many blogs, without a meaningful discussion of the subject matter.

Lots of new users to Steemit try do this. The motive is usually that they are fishing for votes and hoping to draw attention to themselves.

It does not work.

Whilst newbies might think your interest was genuine, and upvote you, or even follow you, their vote is generally worth nothing. More seasoned Steemit users will see your post for what it is, and at best simply ignore or mute you.

Some whales will deliberately hunt down and flag users who behave like this.

Short posts like this look like spam. You risk others interpreting it that way and flagging you.

Downvotes or flags can significantly lower your reputation, can result in the removal of rewards, and may result in your posts or comments not being seen by others.

A single downvote can set you back a long way in your quest for followers, reputation and rewards.

Please help keep Steemit free of spam posts.

If you like a post, it is generally sufficient to upvote it unless you want to join in the debate.

.

Another thing to be careful of is asking other people to upvote or follow you. Some new users make the mistake of doing this. This is also counter-productive and irritating. Asking for upvotes and follows is against Steemit etiquette. Some users may downvote, mute, or flag you if you do this.

Don’t worry, I haven’t flagged or downvoted you. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt that you were genuinely trying to encourage the post. An upvote would have been sufficient.

I often reward intelligent comments. I have a lot of Steempower. A 100% upvote from me is worth hundreds of times a normal upvote. I hope I can reward you for intelligent and thought provoking posts in the future.

Steemit is a place for original writing and thought provoking discussions. If you write well, and comment intelligently with interesting and thought provoking comments, you will gradually build a following, and eventually the rewards will flow. Trying to game the system in the hope of milking the reward pool, before you deserve it, is likely to be spotted by the whales. A single downvote could set you back a long way.

Good luck in your future posts!
