Hey there,
I just wanted to install the Digibyte Core Wallet, but had some troubles with its installation. (https://www.digibyte.co/digibyte-wallets).
I solved it! So I though it could be helpful for those facing the same problem.
Problem:
After installing Digibytes core wallet, it opens for about 5 seconds and then closes automatically. Moreover the application itself (.exe) was deleted somehow. It seems as if my anti-virus program "Avast" doesn't like the Digibyte Core wallet. Therefore it deleted it without giving me a hint.
Solution:
- Install the Digibyte Core Wallet but don't open it immediately after installation.
- Open Avast and go to Settings -> Exclusions
- Add the path of your Digibyte wallet to the exclusions.
- Open the application and you should be fine.
I have read that some other anti-virus programs doing the same with the Digibyte Core Wallet. I wonder why exactly its getting blocked.
