Are "Fractal Artworks" an Art or Science?

in digitalart •  7 years ago

My answer to the question would be "both". As fractal art is created with software that uses mathematical parameters and basic geometry to generate the form structure. For those interested in studying the amazing "Fibonacci levels" in their charts for "Crypto Trading", the basic maths is very similar. Some people even say fractals have mystic powers, as fractals can also be found in nature, The bee's honeycomb for example. For me, I just find them beautiful, unique, artistic and a very interesting form of "Digital Art".

This is a great post, fractiles have their own equations with an iteration number, they will have the same form no matter their scale but appear more complex at higher itterations. Many organic structures follow these patterns. Fractures are geometric, so yeah both science and art follow these patterns.

I agree that Fibonacci numbers may be seen in crypto trends, due to human natural influence. Fractures, not so much, most crypto trends follow the social patterns.

Yes agree @trashtriangle :)
There is a vast amount written about Fractals, i only touched on the surface really of this fascinating subject
Thanks for your kind comments...
