The Day

People knew the Global Warming was in progress, but they thought it will affect the ’others’, not them.
Then, in the year 2142, something rose from the melted Arctic ice. It was first noticed on a satellite image and even then it was clear that this artifact had extraterrestrial origins.
Although there were a lot of preparations and briefings, the expedition couldn't prepare for what they felt in person.
The more the explorers approached the spheres, the dizzier they felt.
At the time, people all over the globe were still living their usual lifes, but as we now know, by the end of the day, nothing will have been the same.
