Vintage Car Day Down At The Old Pixel Mines

in digitalart •  6 years ago  (edited)

By the end of an editing session my computer heats up and my grasp on reality starts to slip! I had some fun tonight making these edits. If you have any idea what the cars are, do let me know. I have an idea about the last two.

Something old and funky in front of the legislature.

1932 Chevy Coupe. Possibly not the original colour.

These digital images are based on my own original photographs taken in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. Notice how they became more psychedelic as the evening progressed? Let me know what you think, and have a great night my friends!

Fantastic art work, my clever friend!

Thank you, Melinda, glad you like this :)

These are absolutely fabulous, Keith! I love the whimsical edits, a real switch on reality.

They got progressively more creative as the night wore on!

I will have whatever you are having.

I especially love the car with the Parliment Building in the back and the '55 Chevy sitting beachside!

Tip!

Hey Denise, I'm so glad you like these :) You can see the difference between an 8 PM edit and a 10 PM edit? I appreciate your upvote & tip Denise!

I'd like to say you get more creative, but, the truth is - you are always creative! Hiya, Keith!

I love them! They are so colorful and whimsical, Keith!

Thanks very much, Icy! :)

Excellent digital artworks! Very well done.

Thank you very much!

cool cars and love these funky edits

Thanks very much @tattoodjay!

I love these! They are very cartoon like ....each one has it's own character in it. The one with the three modes of travel is interesting, each representing a different era. If I were to choose one to hang on my wall it would be the second bc it matches my decor, not just color wise by in style.

Thank you, they are a bit like cartoons, aren't they? I guess that's what I was aiming for although this still isn't "it" whatever "it" is.... I'm still working on creating the look I want. Some of these are the result of multiple layers of filters.

I can't wait to see how this learning/search progresses. It's all very creative and I know how you feel about "it" not being there yet.

I typically pass up many edited photos but not these. Wow. Very, very cool.

These would be nice framed.

Not the car expert in the family so cannot help with identification.

Thanks for taking the time to create and share.

Thanks so much, I appreciate the comment!

Have missed your presence here @keithboone and can't believe I didn't comment and upvote this post earlier as I know I certainly did admire it when I first saw it. This is a fabulous selection of funky edits my friend and the cars you have chosen to 'dress up' are so very cool. I'm so glad to see you enjoying digital art as I need more companions to join me in this field. Looking forward to your next post...….(hint, hint.)

Hi Trudee, I'm taking a break for a few days. Have been extremely busy lately, and now we are leaving for a short camping trip. I should be back online by the weekend. I'm glad you like these images Trudee, although they are not in the same league as your work!

It’s a good time to have a break @keithboone I’ve been doing day trips while the weather is cooler......it is much more pleasant than trying to do photography in the middle of summer. I hope you have a very enjoyable camping trip my friend. 🌺
