Playing with drawing and filters

Just for fun I thought I would try to draw something and color it in with digital programs and then run it through a filter to see what kind of results I could get.

I thought it would be easiest to use one of my own photos and you can see what I started out with as photo reference in my other account in my Actifit post of August 20 I used the last picture in the post.

Here's the final result after putting it through a filter program:

I was not trying to hard to produce a pencil drawing since there were a bunch of other steps I was planning. I think next time I will try to get the pencil lines in better shape or clean it up more in the digital programs before coloring it. I was having a lot of issues with the paint bucket tool going out of the lines but I figured that might happen.

As it turned out I guess it kind of reminds me of a scared looking snail looking at a creepy looking head near the fence line and under the leaf.

Well, I guess it turns out that way sometimes. Next time I'll try something different.
