The story of the famous diamond ring named Kohinoor is very long and colorful. Its history began in 1304 AD. Like the beautiful virgin of ancient times, it has now been replaced by the kings and rulers of various kings in the Tower of London. Kohinoor literally means mountain of light. Diamond volume weight 108.93 carat

Kohinoor's history was in the sixteenth century by Kohinoor's kingdom of Malwa, and later it came under the Mughal emperors and the splendor of the peacock made by emperor Shahjahan. When the Mughal empire was scattered and destroyed, Nader Shah was invited to help bring back the glorious days of Muslim rule. But he was taken to cheating without giving the promised money. Tactically he took Kohinoor from the Mughals and took him to Iran. Kohinoor's name is also given by Nadir Shah. After Nadir Shah was killed, Kohinoor came to the son of Afghan emperor Humayun.
Maharaja Ranjit Singh of Punjab, acquiring Kohinoor, received Kohinoor diamonds from the Afghan ruler. He will give it to the Purana Jagannath Temple.
After the second Anglo-Sikh war, the British took possession of the Sikh Empire after the British defeated Sikhs. For him, Lord Dalhousie made the last agreement of Lahore. In accordance with that agreement, Kohinoor, along with the Maharaja's property, was handed over to Victoria's Victoria Victoria. Successor Dalip Singh gave it a hand in 1850 to the East India Company. Finally, it was officially handed over to Queen Victoria in 1850. Queen Victoria used 108.93 carat-rich Kohinoor in her hand. Then it got place in the British crown. One-time pride in the subcontinent is now in Britain.
Ownership dispute
Dalip Singh was a minor in 1850. Many have questioned, Kohinoor is taken under pressure from the minor king. And in that context, India demanded the return of Kohinoor during the independence of India in 1947 and later in 1953, during the reign of the second Queen Elizabeth II. But the British government has dismissed the issue of the agreement.
