I was very happy to learn that Charlotte had its own Chicken franchise restaurant to call its own. Bojangles was created here in Charlotte and nothing beats getting it from the source. Well I couldn't drive directly to their original location so I had to settle for either of the two Bojangles locations here at the airport. The smell of their fried chicken whiffs through parts of the airport and was one of the main reasons I came to try these guys out.
I was expecting the chicken to come out tasting dry, like something that had been sitting under a heat lamp for too long since it was coming from an airport franchise location but I was surprised to find that this place still produced some really juicy flavorful chicken. Their deepfrying had penetrated through the chicken and cooked it just right. If you were to pull apart the fried skin, you could see the spices underneath.
Overall I was very happy with the meals here and would have to say its probably the best thing to eat here at the airport or 2nd best depending on how you feel about Chick-Fil-A
