Wu-Tang Clan’s, Ol' Dirty Bastard Estate Announces “Dirty Coin” Cryptocurrency

In another round of, “Hey, I’ve Got A Coin Too”, the estate of the legendary Ol’ Dirty Bastard of the Wu-Tang Clan recently announced they will jump into the cryptocurrency space with a new coin titled, Dirty Coin.

"Bitcoin is the future of money and all the fans want a part of the future of Ol' Dirty Bastard," Young Dirty, ODB's son, said in a press release Tuesday announcing the estate's collaboration with Link Media Partners.

The Link Media and ODB Estate collab will see the formation of approved cryptocurrency and blockchain tech-based products for future musical endeavors, starting with projects related to Young Dirty's upcoming debut album. The Dirty Coin will also give fans the chance to check out exclusive merchandise and music from ODB, as well as tours and shows from Young Dirty.

While this coin might not have an amazing tech utility behind it, it is a great step in the direction of artists cutting out the wandering hands of the music industry to get paid directly from their fanbase. I expect to see more of this going forward until one company finally figures out a fair split of the revenue pot for all parties involved.
