Blockchain and Disaster Recovery

disaster recovery.jpegDuh - #blockchain will negate the need for database backups. Fundamentally changing disaster recovery.

I don't now why it took so long for this to occur to me. That whole distributed ledger, everything is automatically backed everywhere...completely eluded me until yesterday. Where has my CBCP brain been?

I was chatting with www.owo.world database administrator and he was telling me why when people went to buy #owocoin they should follow the directions for an #ethereum smart contract. Because...!!! Once its on the blockchain it's always on the Blockchain. As opposed to the website, whose db can be corrupted, altered or fail. Blew my mind. Something so obvious and it never occurred to me. Sometimes the future is staring you right in the face and you don't even see it.

My name is Samson. This has been a production of Blockchain for Dummies by a Dummy. I’m a human and an anthropologist. Feel free to hit me up on Twitter or Instagram @HustleFundBaby. I would say thoughts are my own…but I probably stole them from a woman.

You didn't realize it because your catch phrase is "you don't have to know how it works..." Lol! Smart contracts also solve what sites like PayPal lacked - a way to hold money to ensure payment, then exchange money securely and efficiently once both parties are satisfied. Absolutely love it!
