To love Jesus is to obey His commandments, Love must be translated into obedience.
A true disciple will win souls primarily because he wants Jesus Christ to see the travail of His soul and be satisfied. He wants to see the sick healed because the stripes on Jesus' body should not be in vain.
TOTAL ABANDONMENT
A disciple is fully committed to the Lord, whatever the circumstances.
He is a slave of love.
He gives and expects nothing in return.
“Know you not that you are bought with a price and you are not your own?” (1Cor. 6:19-20)
a) The 3 Hebrews told Nebuchadnezzer: “Our God is able to deliver us, but if He does not we will still not bow”. (Dan 3:17)
b) Joseph declared: “The Lord sent me here” (Gen 45:5)

d) Abraham was willing to sacrifice his own son in obedience to God.
e) Paul was told on the Damascus Road, “Persecution and imprisonment awaited”, (Acts 20:23) yet he was not disobedient to the heavenly vision.
Satan has no defense against a man who is totally sold out to God. Satan thrives on self-centeredness. Because of self-sacrifice: Paul was able finish his course
Abraham’s submission lead to the birth of Jesus according to the flesh
The 3 Hebrews didn’t burn in the fire, and ruled with Daniel
The latter end of Job was better than his former
Joseph saw his dreams fulfilled
This is the type of Christian we have to become, and reproduce in others. Anything less is not New Testament Christianity.
