The disciples of Jesus: You have received without payment, give without payment. Matthew 10:8

Jesus in the Gospel of Saint Matthew institutes his disciples to proclaim and spread the doctrine of the Kingdom of God, these disciples who are a total of 12, the Gospel tells us that Jesus gives them gifts of healing and spiritual cleansing, with this power that he gives to them, Jesus prepares the disciples for the final of their spiritual growth, the spiritual rebirth and the reception of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4) in forms of tongues of fire.
As in the parable of the wedding banquet (Matthew 22:1-14), while Jesus is physically with them, he sends them to proclaim the good news to the people of Israel, the heirs of the old covenant of Moses; after the resurrection of Jesus, this call will have a universal character addressed to all men who fear God: "Then Peter began to speak: ´I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right´" Acts 10:34-35.
The Bible tells us about the institution of the disciples and their mission:
"Jesus called his twelve disciples to him and gave them authority to drive out impure spirits and to heal every disease and sickness.
These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John; Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus; Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
These twelve Jesus sent out with the following instructions: ´Do not go among the Gentiles or enter any town of the Samaritans. Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel. As you go, proclaim this message: ´The kingdom of heaven has come near.´Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy, drive out demons. You have received without payment, give without payment." Matthew 10:1-8.
