Originally written and recorded by McFadden & Whitehead for Philadelphia International Records in 1979 "Ain't No Stopping Us Now" is an undeniable disco anthem with many killer versions out there (for instance Risco Connection's dubbed out take a favorite of David Mancuso). Released the same year on Tito Rodriguez's label the Charanga '76 side is no doubt one of my favorite disco records of all time. Slightly shorter than the original this version is packed full of irresistible raw percussion. Give it a listen and hear for yourself!

Nice one! You are pretty on the money here, the percussion gives this a mildly different vibe here that sets it apart from the more familiar version. Great find and thanks for sharing. I'll be following.

I feel like my words don't do the track justice but it's definitely a jam. As mentioned in the post, there's a bunch of great versions of this track including a couple gospel ones!
