Hello fellow steemians! How was your day?

I have observed with dismay the activities of members of this great community in the past few days and I've concluded that most of our activities here especially the upvoting aspect are done with gender discrimination.

I don't want you to see my post as a controversial write up or a misleading post but I have taken my time to study our activities here and seen that most of the posts are upvoted as a result of the sex of the writer.

I have participated in different contests and most of the writers who got the highest upvotes were females. Males steemians tend to upvote ladies' write up even when their posts cannot be compared to the ones posted by males in terms of its composition, conciseness etc.

Also some steemians do not take their time to read a post from a male writer but give 100% attention to post from a female writer even if its up to 100 pages, they will read it from the very first word to the last.

Sometimes you discovered that those who viewed or read your post are more than those who upvoted it. My case is a typical example of this when you check out my posts on my blog. This can be so discouraging.

Please let us endeavour to always upvote posts that we find useful. It's a way of encouraging the posters and make him wanna post more. It's a way of making the poster believe in himself or herself. It's a way of making him or her put more effort to whatever he or she is doing which I believe is the number 1 reason for being on this platform.

Thank you for taking your time to read. It's just an observation from a newbie

I like the fact that you have expressed your observations and feelings for everyone in the community to see i hope this changes the state of things

@elixbaba, thanks bro. I hope so. It's discouraging when you have so much readers to your posts and only one person upvote.
