Who do you think will end up on the iron throne in Westeros, and why?

My pick? Petyr Baelish/Little Finger.

Though I would personally love to see his head mounted on a spike for betraying me and my family, one has to admit that he is a clever little worm. He is responsible for so many events that have taken place in Westeros, and I believe he has a plan to take advantage of the coming war against the whitewalkers and seize the iron throne when things are all said and done.

What do you think?

Pretty sure its going to be Daenerys Targaryen in the end. She is building up quite the experience in conquering and ruling. Plus dragons.

But, what happens when those dragons are killed? And potentially revived by the whitewalkers as undead dragons??

She has the family name and charisma to gather the people to her banner. She could even use her dragon blood again to amazing the masses as she survives a fire.

When is the next season?

EDIT: Daenerys Targaryen - but that is too obvious and this is GoT we're talking about, so I'll say Tyrion.

They had to push production so that they could shoot in the winter, so it is likely to be closer to July than the usual April.

I think Khaleesi will sit the Iron Throne, but, not for very long at all. It is Game of Thrones as you say, so I'm thinking that we cannot have a victory over the whitewalkers and someone likeable on the throne at the end of it too.

If it is one of the good guys per say, I'd like to see Gendry on there..

Would Tyroin and Daenerys be allies or enemies in either case? She wants the throne, and would consider him an enemy if he held it, but I doubt he feels the same toward her.

Well, there are rumours of the Mad King taking liberties with Joana Lannister, the supposed mother of Tyrion. If true, then this could speak to the possibility of Tyrion being a Targaryen, and the oldest descendant of King Aerys II.

This might explain his fascination, and seemingful kinship with dragons, and it would also make him a viable heir to the throne in spite of his bastard status.

I don't believe that Khaleesi would quite so easily forfeit her claim however. As the show progresses, we are seeing the somewhat psychopathic trait associated with many Targaryens taking hold of her.

I am quite surprised that within all these comments, not one person suggested Jon Snow. Given the confirmed revelation of his true lineage, you would think that some would believe he would sit the iron throne.

He is after all the, potentially legitimate, son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, born of fire and ice, potentially the prince that was promised reborn amidst smoke and salt, and the rightful heir to the iron throne.

I would definitely think Daenerys aswell.

No one, the dragons will destroy everything!

I actually don't know.🤗

I strongly doubt your daughter Arya will seek the throne, but that is all I can say for certain.

She may not seek the throne, but through seeking the love of Gendry she may find a place as Queen. Who knows..
