Discussion - is it wrong to take advantage of the system?

In steemit, there survives many bots and sub accounts. Their owners are managing them. This is a well known secrets(or not). Reason behind it is that, I believe we all know, purely money driven which matches the motto of steemit of "money talks".

Same for utopian-io, currently it seems to be the only way for minnows and planktons to make some money and be rewarded for their contributions. However, I heard stories of people being warned or banned for posting because they manage sub accounts for contribution or had been posting too many contributions, meaning potentially making too much money in some people's lens.

I am not sure if this sounds rationale, when those people sending out those warnings or applying bans, did they take into account that -

This is the way steemit runs.

People makes more money because they invested in more time and efforts and contributes more.

If you want to argue that the poll is just this big, the more one person contributes, the less other contributors will make, and then eventually the money for everybody will be meaningless, which could eventually lead to detrimental damage to the project itself.

What do you think of this? Up for open discussions-

thanks!

What you say definitely seems to be true, but how do we fight it? It's like you said, money talks.

As long as there's a way to make the money someone will exploit it. No matter how negative the activity is to the community at large.
