yup.
but you used too many word.
you shouldn't be forced to fund public education true..but there shouldnt BE public education..parents should be responisble for their kids..and not depend on someone else to raise them..

same with roads..toll roads are best...(user fees)...if you're not using it..why pay for it?

I guess it comes down to selflessness versus selfishness.

or self dependency vs government dependency. It's the difference between a top down solution, which has been proven to not work due to power concentration combined with widespread corruption. Politicians don't even write the laws anymore, the corporations do. As for contracts for education and what not, theres nepotism and greed every step down the chain to the point that the teachers cant buy basic supplies and have 30+ kids in their classroom. Now you could keep throwing even more of your taxes towards a government that has clearly proven itself a failure or you can join everitt and myself support, a bottom up approach that focuses on personal responsibility to ones family friends and community. Putting a gun to ones head to make someone give is coercion, not selflessness.

I agree with your sentiment but not so much with the sweeping generalizations. Politicians, legislators, civil servants, local administrators shouldn’t really be lumped together. I have issues with each group with some being worse than others. Even in a bottom up world, these organizing entities are still going to be needed. While these roles are done by humans, corruption will be a problem.

odd how a person who is altruistic (selfless) is eager to use someone ELSE'S money to so so...

when it comes time to put THEIR money where their mouth is...what generally happens?
