Not the best I've seen...not the worse

- based on a triple-axle trailer measuring 10 ft (3 m) wide, which exceeds the standard towing width for a trailer in the US, so we'd guess it's not intended for regular travel.
that part is stupid. The legal width in the US is 8ft 6inches wide. They don't gain much by exceeding that dimension and they loose a LOT.
It looks like a modified shipping container. Why didn't they DO that?
Why not take a standard shipping container. (they're everywhere, they're everywhere...and they're CHEAP) Slap an axel under it (or two or three)...presto-chango a trailer (shipping containers are built TOUGH)...glue some solar panels to the roof...cut some windows...do 'stuff' inside.
Instant transportable tiny home.
So SIMPLE
why make it so hard?
The good thing about these containers is that they can be easily modified.

Everyone is always trying to make "a better one." Because then they can make more MONEY creating something we don't actually need.
Shipping containers are everywhere, as you say-- durable as hell and cheap. And "legal" dimensions. And they are stackable and modular.

and build a 'high rise' down town that caters to them

Imagine moving if you own such an apartment.
call up the truck....the overhead crane lowers your apt.
DOWN to the ground.
It hooks up and away you go
you could fly or drive along behind.
when you get to your destinaton
reverse the process.
Move from LA to Boston is about a week.
ready to rock and roll.

They are the ultimate modular home... and not just for those into "alt living."
You live in the city and work for a company-- your apartment is one or two of these.
You get transferred to another city?
No problem. Tie down your stuff (like an RV) and call the haulers... a couple of tractors pull them to another city and plug you into another building.
"Just like being home," except new landscape.

Tiny homes are generally pretty nice unless the designer has no idea what they are doing.
Tiny smart homes are becoming a thing. My company, Intel partnered with Amazon to create a smart tiny mobile home:
