I am married to a truck driver and the refulations these boys have to follow is outrageous. He has been hauling cattle because its a little more lax but a lot harder load to carry.
I respect truckers, always have just because of the fact theres no shame in working for a living.
Sadly, there are going to be shortages across all actual working class industries in the next few years. Think truckers and nurses they people who actually do the work for reasons other than respect and pay. Its very alarming and sad that both industries have been regulated to the point its too hars to recruit, train, and keep workers.
