Is there objective truth?

in discutio •  6 years ago

Background

Even science is based on reprehensible theories and models. As soon as a better theory is 'invented', the old one is 'wrong'. But can we achieve true objectivity? Isn't everything subjective and contextual?

neurobiological there is evidence that we sample sensory input and have a internal prior and are our selfes a model which represents external reality (which is maybe not truth but objective)

We cant excess reality directly and there is no way that knowlegde can be transfered, there for knowledge and truth is allways subjektive for the individuum. So practicaly >>for us<< there is no objective truth
