GOBankingRates examined how admission fees have changed since the theme park opened in 1971 through 2017, according to data from AllEars.net. Next, GBR calculated what the rate would have been for every year when considering the effect of inflation according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics inflation calculator. Prices for Disneyland tickets or entrance fees for other theme parks were not considered; all data is for the price of general admission Magic Kingdom tickets at Disney World only.
