The fact that it's news that a lot of Disney employees are now going to be required to go to the office four days a week is a little weird.
Look, we make our own choices, and there are positive and negative consequences to all of them.
I chose to do work that can't be done well remotely. When the pandemic hit, I was kinda fucked for a while because of that decision.
A lot of people chose jobs that could be done at home; so, when the pandemic hit, they weren't hurt as much, or at all because of it. In fact, a lot of them benefited. They were doing the same job without having to commute, buy gas, or put on pants.
If you're one of those people, I'm not gonna fault you at all for having a couple of years of having to be at work at 9am and only having to wake up at 8:55am. That was a perk of your life choices.
Just don't bitch about having to get up, put on pants, and get in your car at 8am to get to work at 9am like the rest of us.
