Disney's amusement park in Florida continued until the last minute, Saturday, despite Hurricane Irma approaching the US state.
As Hurricane Erma approached the state, the Disney theme parks, known as the Magic Kingdom or Magic Kingdom, were open until 9pm on Saturday before the storm, which is expected to threaten the region.
Walt Disney said in a statement that Disney's four parks southwest of Orlando, Florida, would be closed on Sunday and Monday, but allowed visitors who planned months to visit them to enjoy the games and shows and watch the actors, dressed in famous cartoon characters until the last minute last night .
Other Disney clubs in the region, such as Universal Studios, Lego Land and Sea World, were open on Saturday when the weather was good, but it would not work Sunday or Monday, the Orlando Sentinel reported.
Erma is expected to arrive in central Florida on Sunday, carrying heavy winds and heavy rain.
