What a day for our lovely kids, especially the US Americans - the awesome Disneyland, opened that day in 1955 in Anaheim, California. Nowadays over 14 million visitors enjoy the park of nostalgia which makes the place of joy the biggest theme park in the world in terms of attendance.
Storytelling as born - kind of
As a marketing person we nowadays often use content marketing and storytelling as buzz worlds. This first theme park was a very early storytelling destination which marked a new era of family entertainment. Apart from the Anaheim Disneyland there have been further parks created across North America, Europe and Asia. I had the pleasure to visit the Paris one not so long ago. Have you been there already?
