How do I buy Walt Disney World admission tickets?

Here are a few tips that I have learned over our 33 trips from Long Island to Orlando. Let’s start with the obvious. You need admission to the park. The one thing you should never do is stop at those discounted ticket pop ups that are scattered on the outskirts of Kissimmee and Orlando. Disney uses a biometric finger swipe system that matches the user to the ticket and can not be switched. Most of the pop up stalls will purchase used tickets from tourists not needing them. You purchase and then go to the park with a useless ticket. The only way to truly save is to purchase directly from Disney. Best bet is from godisney.com. There is an authorized reseller called Undercover tourist if you choose to go that route.
