Why distribution is important

good article @acidyo, basically you spelled out the flaw in DPOS.

No altruism will ever come from large stake holders, and any that does, usually they will be the minority.

I'm not such a large stake holders, at a mere 29,000 SP a peak. But I took next to nothing in terms of upvote, i don't even post. And I tried to support the community of satire writers thinking that would help the blockchain.

What i learn from this experiment is that it won't happen. It's a capitalistic culture that won't change from real world to blockchain social world, but even worst, unlike the real world.. we no longer have the large non-profits helping out, actual spiritual organization that does good, nor even government social security to help out the minnows and plankton, and we never will have enough of that to have even a 50% distribution to make HIVE widely accepted.

This is why ongoing, I've sold my Steem (fantastic price...thank you HIVE pump), and I'm keeping my HIVE in bittrex purely for trading. I no longer see the benefit in powering up and upvoting (and I tried doing that for 2+ years and it made zero difference even thought I gave away 99% of my vote)
