I am no money guru but I do quote and learn from a few of them. One of the better ones I like and would like to share is by Warren Buffet that says rule number one don't lose money, Rule number two don't forget rule number one. With all this hype and craze of cryptocurrencies and their rocketing returns, I want to throw a word of caution out there. Please DIVERSIFY your assets. Having all your money tied up in the stock market or crypto market or real estate gives you too much exposure to volatility in one area.
The first step is to determine your risk tolerances and invest appropriately. This can be done by diving into and acknowledge things like your age, current income and debt to income, growth rates in various markets, overalll market swing, and lifestyle or standard of living. From there you can determine the percentages (not dollar value) of your worth to invest where. I encourage having exposure to the stock market, cryptocurrency, bonds, real estate and gold. What and how much you put where is different for everyone based on the things just mentioned. Also with in these different baskets you should have many different eggs to further lower your risk.
Don't chase it only because it's attainable, be sure its sustainable.
