Billy Nungesser wrong, absurd, in sediment diversion criticism, governor's coastal adviser says

Speaking at a Baton Rouge Press Club luncheon, Kline defended the state’s contention that the Mid-Barataria and Mid-Breton Sediment Diversions are key to the long-term sustainability of the state’s coastal wetlands.

Interesting article about the ongoing debate on whether or not to build a large fresh water diversion in South Louisiana to help rebuild the wetlands. To me the debate is long over, the Mississippi River and all of its sediment build South Louisiana and its what is needed to restore the marsh. It's a shame that special interest seem to always try to trump the overall good, especially when large sums of money are involved. Anyway I believe that Kline lays out the points for fresh water diversions better than most can, if you have time please read the article to see if you agree.
