Very interesting topic @iambitnet thanks for sharing. By the way about the divorce rate, it's getting higher and higher every where. It seems like it's higher in western countries maybe because of the law and culture that generally easier to get divorced. But if we see some eastern cultures and countries which I see as a more conservative and strict in ruling a divorce, with a high rate of divorce, it's even more surprising and in most cases, people now days get divorce as easy as because argumentation and cheating-suspection (usually caused by misunderstanding and un-openness of couple's social media).

In any case, I think we should believe that people in the past is much stronger and more passionate in maintaining family life through patience. And no matter in which era people were married, understanding, trust, openness and communication are the key in a healthy relationship.
