Thank You Teachers (Gift ideas)

in diy •  7 years ago

It is almost end of the school year. I was thinking of making some gifts for my daughter’s teachers. I wanted to make something that’s useful, easy and quick to make. I searched online and came up with these 4 different designs.

#1

I made these See-through-zippered pouches with quilting cotton, clear vinyl and heat-n-bond. These pouches are great for organization and many other things. And above all, having one side transparent, makes it easy to see what’s inside without having to open. Imsewingmachine has a great pattern called Sakura purse. This is a 2-in-1 purse as it is a coin purse with a tissue compartment. This purse can be used for cards, cash, receipts, bills, essential oils, lip balms, first aid kit, etc. Here’s the link for the tutorial - http://www.lmsewingmachine.com/product/sakuru-purse-pattern

I had some Faux leather which I used to make these zipper pouches. This pouch can be made with cork fabric, vinyl, faux leather or genuine leather. Here’s the link for the tutorial and video by Sewsweetness - https://sewsweetness.com/2018/05/video-cork-zipper-pouch.html

And finally, for the last design, I made these tiny pouches. These are basic zipper pouches that can be used to keep coins, ear buds, cords, keys and many other little things. The tutorial is for boxy pouch but I just made them regular pouch instead.
