My 3D printed replica of the DL-44 Han Solo Blaster from Star Wars

This will be a gift for my brother who's a big Star Wars nerd. He already has plenty of light sabers and other collectibles, but he did not have the DL-44.

The process was rather simple, print all the parts, glue them together, sand and then finally paint them. I took about 15-20 hours to print the all the parts. Sanding and painting took around 5 hours, so all in all in took about a full day of work to complete it.

Info about the build
Everything was printed in black PLA, if I were to redo the project I would probably use ABS because it's much easier to vapor smooth. I tried using nail varnish to smooth out some parts and while it did work pretty good on parts that weren't too complicated, it was very time consuming. You apply a coat, let it dry, sand it and repeat.

Without any paint on it and sanded:

Coated with primer and sanded slightly.
